Sometimes it's hard to tell which way is up. I was sitting in my car outside a music venue with neon lights aglow when a sudden thunderstorm began. I felt submerged and in slow motion like a jellyfish must feel...it wasn't a panic at all but more of a blissful sensation of time being suspended in mid air. The concert was about to start...didn't care. I was ill prepared for rain...didn't care. The rain was beating like a drum upon the roof of my car and blurring the lights into a hazy dream, which was approximately what you get at a good concert anyway, so I found myself quite content.
